I have a 1971 El Camino that I'm in the process of swapping a turbo 5.3L Gen III motor into. Still very early into it though and not enough money to make a lot of progress. Right now I'm sumping the factory tank in preparation of the aeromotive fuel system.

Know anything about modifying the harness and tuning it? I'll need some help in that field hopefully next spring/summer if I make it that far by then.

Guy in Tecumseh Ks, Anthony, owner of PCMperformance.com can do all the tuning for you. How are you planning on doing the turbo kit? Swap some truck manifolds forward?

Yeah, truck manifolds facing forward crossing over to the passenger side. The battery is being relocated so I'll have additional room.

I've also considered running a crossover under the motor to the passenger side and building a log style manifold for the passenger side.

Right now my priorities are to get the car and motor ready and get it put in. Then I'll focus on the turbo kit.

Does the guy in Tecumseh (I'm pretty close to Tecumseh by the way) modify harnesses to standalone style? That will be one of my biggest hurdles in this.
